Spain Continues to Tank

While pretty much every other European stock market is up nicely year to date, Spain continues to tank.  As shown in the first chart below, Spain's widely followed IBEX-35 made a new six-month closing low today.

Below is a chart of the year to date performance of the S&P 500, Germany's DAX and Spain's IBEX-35.  As shown, Germany is up 15%, the US is up 11%, and Spain is down significantly at -10.6%.
