Google (GOOG) Breaks Out

Google (GOOG) quietly made a significant move higher today while Apple hogged the spotlight.  As shown in the chart below, Google cleared two key resistance levels today with its gain of $15.45.  This breakout above its two prior highs over the past two years puts it in striking distance of its all-time highs made back in 2007.  Technicians will no doubt take note.
